Friend of the Kenya JacarandaThis is for people who wish to be involved more closely with the project on an ad hoc basis but who are unable to commit to being crew. Benefits of membership include
Being kept up to date with project developments as they happen
Invitations to social events and onboard activities
KJ Crew - Full Membership This is for people who wish to be active within the project and can commit to spending a few hours a month furthering the cause. This can include everything from working parties aboard KJ or shore-based admin and development. The benefits of being crew include
The right to attend meetings and vote
Being kept up to date with project developments as they happen
Invitations to social events and onboard activities
Inclusion in the 'points for work' scheme
Access to structured volunteering opportunities and formal qualifications Access to skill swap and crew swap arrangements with other historic vessels
