Robins Creek Marina - this derelict harbour at Northfleet on the Thames has great development potential as a resource for River users

River Thames Heritage and Opportunity
is a informative site which is well worth a look, particularly if you are interested in what is left of the maritime infrastructure in Kent Thames-side area.

The Woodlands Junior School website just gets better and better with more information about the River itself than you can shake a stick at.  Their charming Pictorial Guide to the River Thames is a delight.

A very good site listing places to visit and things to do on and around the river can be found in the River Thames Guide online.



Port Cities - London is a really excellent site charting the development of London as a port from Roman Times to the present.  It Also looks at the other major ports as well.

For those ship spotters amongst you, this link will take you to the MarineTraffic.com web page where you can find out where in the world your favourite vessel. 

Old Salt Blog is an absolute mine of information with a most impressive series of links to other sites.

Hull Trawler - Stern to Smack is full of information and images dedicated to Hull Trawlers and the chaps who sailed in them.



Art Marine is a site which sells prints and paintings from the UK's major maritime artists.  Some fantastic pictures can be found here.



For some excellent river pictures, and many photos of London, Photopolis is a site which contains many pictures of London.  The River Thames has its own section but the whole site is worth looking at.
